I am researching McKees related to Thomas McKee b. 1822 in County Down. Thomas settled near Ironton, Ohio and probably immigrated about 1850. He may have been a brother or cousin to Hugh McKee who settled in Story County, Iowa for in the 1860 census Thomas McKee and his wife and family lived next to or with Hugh McKee and his family for a short time. Hugh McKee was b. 1826 and came from Kilkeel, County Down, Ireland. Let me know if you have encountered these names??
