My search is for the father of Samuel McKee, lived ad died in Hempfield Twp., Westmorland Co.
He was b.about 1740, I don't know n U.S or Ireland. He eft 6 minor kids-info in Hannasburg, Pa. Orphans Court. It appears his bro. was Capt. McKee, both in the Revol. and indian wars. Wife was Margaret.
He is listed a couple of places as son of David; I believe his father was a brother of David, McKeesport.
Several are listed as old Davids (b.1710) parents, but I believe they were Ester Hawthorn & John McKee.
I read of their children, only Andrew and David came over. Oher places substitute William for Andrew.
There was an Andrew in Westmorland, as well as Wm. Can you help me straighten out these possibilities?
