Thank you for the information you posted, I've been at a brick wall
with my Great-Grandfather George Washington McKee who was born in France per
the Census. I've been trying to find out who his
mother and father were, I know he married in Indiana in 1850 and
lived in Missouri and then went on to Oklahoma and died in Paris
Texas. My Grandfather William Elliott McKee was his oldest son.
If anyone has info on them I would appreciate if very much if you would let
me know. As there has been talk that McKee wasn't his real name.
