If you don't have a good genealogy program, I'd reccommend PAF (Personal
Ancestral File) a free download from the LDS (Mormon) web site. It's user
friendly and 100% compatible with LDS gedcom requirements, unlike a lot of
other programs.
The program has some interesting capabilites, including generating entire
web pages based on your ancestral data in the web page. I've just finished
typing in my genealogy data and let the PAF program generate web pages for
me. The result is the slickest I've seen yet - easy to navigate and use,
unlike a lot of other programs like ged2html which are a nightmare to get
around in online.
