Gary,
I was going over my old e-mails and found the following one that I had
not read.
I remember V-Mail during WW II. But I don't remember any thing that was
photographed. I remember writing my uncle in the South Pacific on
V-Mail. You wrote on one side of a piece of very thin paper that then
was folded up along lines on the other side that made it into an
envelope. I can't remember if we had to put a stamp on it or not, but I
know my uncle didn't. As far as I can remember, we received his letters
on the same type of paper.
