Since you are a Govans boy and I spent a fair amount of time there, thought I would poke around. Like my Irish folk dates are not that important to them.
In the 1900 census your John and Henrietta are living on Catherine St in Baltimore. He 63 and she 62 but both said they were married for 39 years so that means 1861 right. They had a son Thomas 25 living with them.
But jump to the 1880 and John had a slew of step children and the oldest was Benjamin McNally age 18 so born 1862. The last 3 children said McNally but sons and dtr not step. So are the last 3 really Campaigne from May 9, putting the marriage closer to 1871? Or did they marry after the birth of the last child who was 11 months? Putting the marriage 1979. I will continue to try to sort out. Just had a thought. Joan
