Mike, some help I hope and for others also. The Dreyers name rings a
bell as I was born and raised in Cumb suburb but that I cannot remember
anything specific. As for Cemeteries - there were and still are many. To
name a few, Hillcrest (a big one), Hillcrest Memorial Park, Davis
Memorial Cemetery (church ceme.), Restlawn Memorial Gardens (Lavale
~3mi. out of town and big), Sunset Memorial Park, and MD State Veteran
Cemetery at Rocky Gap ~3 mi. also. Then don't forget all the churches.
90% have their own ceme. Also individual families had their own ceme. on
one member's land. (As mine do, Hutson Ceme. at Rawlings-up the road ).
If you can log on to Cumberland Maryland and get a wealth of info there
for help. Hope you have better luck than me. Beginning to think my
Hutson/Hudson family did not exist before my Grandfather John Bell
1849-1889. Hope you get a little clue from this.
