Starting July 1, 2003, the Public Search Room at the
Maryland State Archives will open Wednesday thru
Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, and Saturday 8:30am to noon
and 1:00pm to 4:00pm. On Saturdays, the search room
and lobby will be closed for 1 hour starting at 12
noon. Patrons must leave the building. The Archives
is closed the first Saturday of every month and on
Saturdays of holiday weekends. The new procedure for
handling inquiries and requests means they must be
submitted by mail, fax or e-mail. No phone calls can
be accepted.
