Not sure what precinct it would be in, but Texas is on the north side of
Baltimore City in Baltimore County, a couple of miles outside of the current
Baltimore Beltway (I-695). No help in Census records I know.

Don't disregard mispelled or wrong names. There is a George H. Beatty
listed in the 1880 Census, that is about the right age for the one you
seek. His father would be William H. Beatty and mother would be Amelia A.
(Slater) Beatty.
