Subject: [MD-CENSUS-LOOKUP] please help! anyone? someone!

My 1st great great great grandparents have been my HARDEST ancestors to find. Can anyone help me PLEASE????????
We Know from family bible:
Elias Bussard was born in Hagerstown Washington Co, MD 6-7-1807
Does anyone have access to the 1810 census?
William and Mary Magdelana Horner Bussard had a child born 6-7-1807 named Eliza - could this have been a mistake? Wouldn't the census help identify if it was actually a girl or boy? Could they of had twins? No one knows anything about Eliza. (William's father Samuel lists an Elias in his will)
I am also wondering if the 1830 census would help identify if this Eliza was a girl or boy - under William Bussard/Buzzard/Bossert . . . or would Elias be living on his own by then? His first child was born 1833, married in 1832 in Montgomery Co, MD to Rebecca Boswell of Montgomery Co., MD.
By 1840 Elias has removed to Elkhart Co., IN. I have been to Elkhart Co and cannot find anything on Elias' parents.
by the by - this family was Brethren - I belong to their digest mode . . .
Any help on identifying Elias' parents would be wonderful...
Thanks
Suzanne Bussard Reaume
