If you think THAT is confusing, I have this:
In 1880, in Logansport, Cass Cty, IN is Anna P. Annabal married 38 years b.
MD with T. Wilson Annabal age 6 born IN. However, T. Wilson is not listed
as her son but, rather, as an "other".
Anna P. ANNABAL Self M Female W 38 MD At Home MD MD
T. Wilson ANNABAL Other S Male W 6 IN NY IN
Census Place Logansport, Cass, Indiana 1880

and the house before that has
Sarah A. Pearson Self W Female W 60 MD At Home MD MD

My guess would be that Sarah Pearson could be the mother of
Rebecca and Anna.

If you browse much further and look at more households, you'll notice that
there are several other cases like yours.
As for a reason why, at first I thought it was that the household was listed
on the end of one page and the beginning of the next
page, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Anyone else?
