Dear Listers:

Seeking information on the above man. He would have been 14 years old at the
time the census was taken and possibly in Allegany Co., MD. He is the son of
James A Jones and Amanda E Crupper Jones. I did find them in the 1800 census
for Allegany Co., MD. With them was listed the following child: Maude, age
1. They also had the following children (other than Maude and Channing):
James Clifford (1891) and Lina/Lena (1889). Edgar wasn't born until 1909.

Channing's death record says he was from VA but that's false, his parents
were. The children say he was from PA but I haven't found proof of this yet.
Maybe looking to some census records may help.
