Hello, Mary Ann,
I found no Mahoneys in any of the three books mentioned. I also checked some
cemetery listings I have for Washington County and found nothing there
except this listing:
MANONEY, Joseph Elbert s/o J. M. & M. E. MALONEY b. 8 Nov. 1921 d. 11
Feb 1922.

The two spellings of the name in this listing is how it appears in the book.
It is not a typo on my part.

The book is Vol. VI of Washington County Cemetery Records, page 53. The
burial site is Rose Hill Cemetery in Hagerstown. I have only volumes I, VI,
and VII, so someone else would have to check the others for you.
