Shelby,
There aren't a lot of FELKER records in my sources, but some. There is
a Catherine FELKER who married Joseph GABRIEL 1 January 1822 - their
marriage is in the Jan. 8, 1822 Maryland Herald. They were married by
Rev. J. R. Riley according to their Torchlight announcement. There are
no FELKER entries in the Frederick County license index covering
1778-1810. Franklin TICE/Catherine E. FELKER 11/28/1850; Theodore D.
HEWITT/Sr. FELKER 3/5/1853 along with Catherine and Eleanor complete
the brides in the marriage license index for Washington County. The
only groom listed is John FELKER/Ann E. BREWER 1/11/1850.
Estate Distributions from 1778-1835 has this entry:
FELKER(S), Henry. Adm. Abraham 3/5/1830; widow, John, Jacob, Ezra T.
$2417.87
From Vol III of the Cemetery Records there are these FELKERs buried in
the Salem Reformed Church Graveyard near Cearfoss, MD.
FELKER, Henry age 40y 4m 7d, d. 3 June 1828
FELKER, John age 90 y 6m, d. 1 Aug. 1846
FELKER, Catherine, w/o John FELKER age 83y 11m 25d d. 3 Feb. 1847
Henry TICE b. 18 March 1806 d. 10 Apr 1826 is buried next to the FELKERS.
I have Vol. II also and there are no FELKER burials there - perhaps
someone will give you a lookup in the other vols. (there are 7 total I
believe)
I hope this helps.
