Looking to determine "is she?" or "isn't she?"

Middletown Valley, Frederick County MD - Magdalena Young, born 20 December 1784, was the oldest child of Jacob (s/o Conrad) Young & Phronica (aka Phrene / Veronica) Fridrich. Jacob later (1812e) moved to Indiana, then died there in 1816. Jacob was baptized as "Hs Jacob" Young. Hs >> Hans >> John

Washington County MD - Jacob Hershey married Mary Young circa 6 December 1803. They had 14 or 15 children born between 1804 and 1825. Some sources list her name as Mary (or Marie) Margaret Young. Jacob and Mary M Hershey are buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Washington County MD. The transcript in Morrow's Washington County Cemetery Records, Vol 7, reads Mary M Hershey, age 59y, d 20 Jan 1844. This would put her birth in 1784/85, same as Magdalena of Jacob Young.

I have an unsourced note that Magdalena d/o Jacob Young and the Mary that married Jacob Hershey were the same person.

Does anyone have, or know of, any info/source that confirms either that Magdalena and Mary are the same person or that they are not the same person?
