Am trying to determine if this lineage is correct and
if Thomas #2 served in the Revolutionary War.
Gen.1 - Ellen KIRK McCORMICK, b. 10 Feb
1820-Hagerstown, Washington Co., MD. - d. Sep 1854 in
Greenville, Bond, Illinois.
Married to Isaac Milton SMITH, (son of Middleton
SMITH of Frederick Co.,VA), in Bond Co.,IL or
Hampshire, Virginia (now WV) on 12 Jun 1841.
Gen. 2 - Thomas McCORMICK #1 - b. probably
abt.1770-1780 - Of Washington Co.,MD
Married Ellen KIRK abt. 1818. - Who were parents?
Gen. 3 - Thomas (or Dennis) McCORMICK-#2
Married to Elanor who is buried at Leitersburg,
Washington, MD. Was he a Revolutionary War Soldier of
MD or VA??
