I am searching for information about Gasper Rickett and his wife Dodetha Friend. They were married in MD. about 1777. He may have been a Hessian soldier in service to England during the Rev. War. He possibly deserted to stay in America. He was born in Germany about 1750. The original German name was not Rickett, it was changed when he settled in MD. If anyone has any info. I would appreciate any help.
