The offer on this mailing for "do you need help" I sent to ask for lookups
in Pa and maybe later in Maryland. I thought the mailing lists were for free
lookups and sharing information.Not for selling information. I declined the
help. This was the response I got:

Sure I can help you.I have a vast amount of records at my fingertips
daily.I can start the search for you as early as Tuesday.I am currently
helping other people at the moment and can add you to my list.I will be
finishing up my research for the other people on Monday.I am aspiring to e a
professional genealogist.I do want to let you know that I charge for my
service.However,I do not charge by the hour as this would not be fair to
you.I do the research,email you when I have the results,and then payment
depends on how satisfied you are with the information I have.I let you decide
on the payment! My main objective here is to help you but as I am a full time
law student,the cost of tuition and books is rediculous! So I have decided to
do research to help with the cost.I do charge a small $10 start up fee to
help with the cost of copies,records,transportation,etc.If I do not use the
whole $10 I will let you know and we can discount that from the final price.I
take payment by check or money order and if you decide this is something you
like to do,I will give you my mailing address.If you do decide you want me to
help I will start the search Tuesday regardless of when the start up fee is
sent out.Thank you for replying.Hope I can help you.Take care.

As for Maryland, I have BRITTINGHAMS, HITCHENS, SHUMANS,COOPER on one side
and JONES(mostly all Archie Jame JONES), DICKERSON, and all are hiding from
me. lol If you have time to help with these I will send it along later. Dont
want to overwelm you.
