Message Board Post:

I am looking for Joseph Sharon(Savon)(Sherron)(Shearon) from Wales m. Mary Hardege(Hadrige)(Hadrage) from the seacoast of Maryland. I am at a brick wall.
The information I have from a bible copy page is that:
Mary and Martha are the only children from their parents.
When Mary and Joseph marry, after their third child is a baby, they cross the Cumberland Mountains and travel to Chariton and Grundy Co., Mo.
I have only one census found on Joseph and Mary and that is
an 1840, Census in Jefferson Twp. Mo., later that area will be Grundy Co. They are in the ages of 1780-1790.
Our relative is their last child born in 1826. She says different things for her mother's information for the census.
I have a 1880 census that says her father is from Wales and her mother is from Virginia.
I have a 1900 census that says her father is from Wales and her mother is from South Carolina.
I thought I had found her family: but relatives to that family have differnt names for Joseph and Mary's children.
I am again at a brick wall.
The bible states the children's married names but no dates.
I don't know where Jospeh and Mary are buried either. Any help would truley be appreciated.
Sincerely,
Carol Wright
