My gg-grandfather was James Walker Shelton. He served in the 7th Regiment,
MD Infantry. He was Killed at the Battle of Five Forks,VA (4/1/1865) He was
married to Rachl unk. She was born 1/27/1827 d.12/27/1902. Their children
were Erwin E. (b1857) and J.C.(b.1858). I would like info on James parents.
I think he was from around Hagerstown.
