I have a number of family members buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Prince George's County. The staff told me yesterday that "the law forbids giving out any information, even to family" regarding persons buried in the cemetery.

Can you tell me a citation for this law? Can you also tell me if there is any way that I can find out the location of the plot in which my great-grandparents are buried at Cedar Hill if the management is legally forbidden from releasing that information.

I know there are problems of identity theft but one of my ancestors died in 1898 and the other in 1923. Is there no limit on restriction of access to such records? Thank you.
