I wouldn't totally rule out Washington, 8 in 1860. People often changed from first to middle name and also gave the wrong age to the census taker. I was sure that my great-grandfather was born in 1800 because his age ended in zero in every census from 1850 to 1880. Then I found his pension papers for the War of 1812! He served for his brother who was drafted, and was actually born in 1796.
