I believe this to be Beverly Carter b. TN abt. 1840 and Charity Adcock, who was divorced from Andrew J. Shores, and then married Beverly Carter on Dec. 22, 1867 in Marion Co, IA. In the 1870 census I found them in Aspenwall Precinct, Nemaha Co, NE, living with his parents G. W. and Mary Carter.
