The TROTT One-Name Research Group (TONRG), based in England, is now active in the U.S. and I am attempting to contact as many descendants as possible with the surname TROTT in the State of Maryland. I invite you to visit our website:

Through the DNA program, we hope to identify TROTT families in the U.S. and eventually tie them into their European roots.

TROTTs were on the East Coast as early as the mid-1600s and, as frontiers opened, quickly spread across the U.S. I am attempting to contact as many TROTT descendants as possible and establish a North American database so we can track these various families. I look forward to hearing from you.
