Hmmm...What are your references for James CONDON, aged about 15, marrying Rachel in 1765?
Do you have more information on their children, any more names, or birth, marriage, or death dates or places?
In what counties did they live in Ohio? Many libraries have books called Early Ohio Tax Lists (shortly after 1800) that substitute for censuses.
Also, if James was born in 1750, it's more likely that he served in the Revolution than his father. James would have been 25 in 1775 and his father 45 or older, and the service could have been several years after that. If anyone is interested in DAR or SAR, the Oath of Fidelity of William would make them eligible if they can make the connection.

William, one male and one female aged 50 , & one male & one female, aged 16 - 50.
Bill & Martha REAMY's St. James Parish, 1787 - 1815, refers to St. James of My Lady's Manor now at the intersection of Monkton & Old York Roads, Baltimore Co. [There was another St. James in Anne Arundel County.]

CONDON, Ann, m. 10 Sep. 1789, John MASON
CONDON, Hester, m. 28 May 1793, Willilam {sic} DUKE.
[Those marriages would have been about the right time for daughters of a couple married in 1765.]
Robert BARNES' Baltimore Co. Families, 1659 - 1759: Nicholas CONGDON was in Balto. Co. by 1692, taxed north side Gunpowder Hundred [no CONDON]. --There's no CON[G]DON in BARNES' Balto. Co., MD, Deed Abstracts, 1659 - 1750.
