Qrytext: I am searching for anyone who may be able to help me with my
ROLLINGS/DEETZ line. I have a Harry ROLLINGS (b.ca 1878, England)
marrying Anamae DEETZ (b. 31 Aug 1879, Cumberland,Allegany Co.,MD) on 8
Nov 1900 in Cumberland. She is the daughter of
Perry DEETZ (b. 1862, MD) and Jane/Jennie CESSNA (b. 1861, PA). I have
the DEETZ family on the 1900 census for Allegany Co. Harry worked for
the Tin Mill according to newspaper report of their marriage. I'm
having trouble finding any ROLLINGS in Allegany Co. He gives his
residence on the marriage license record as Cumberland and I believe he
may have come to this country with his parents in the mid 1870's. I
also believe he may have had a brother William James Deetz but this is
not certain. I would appreciate any leads that anyone may be able to
give me.
