I am sending this to multiple lists which I have never done so hope it works. In 1996 I moved in with my sister with most of my stuff being stored everywhere. I have been searching for two boxes containing pictures and family memorabilia. This afternoon, my incredibly wonderful son came out of an attic crawl space with one of "the boxes". I haven't gotten far yet but thought I'd share the wealth.

I have a 3 x 4 picture in a light cardboard folder. The gentleman is dressed in a white shirt, tie, and suit jacket. Picture is from a little above the elbow up. Years ago, my father and I were going through old pictures and he had me write on the back of this one - "Norris Ravenscroft. W.F.S. worked with him at Luke, MD at W. Va. Pulp & Paper Co."

My father, William Fisher Simmons, was born in 1899 in Moorefield, Hardy Co. Norris Ravenscroft was a friend of his. My Dad left Moorefield about 1923. So the picture was taken sometime during the late teens or early twenties. In the bottom right corner it has "_________ Art Studio" (I cannot read the name). It is in excellent condition and I would be delighted to be able to send this picture to a relative of Mr Ravenscroft. Please contact me if Mr Ravenscroft is part of your family.
