Carol,
Elizabeth was William's mother. And the others were his brothers, except
for Jonathan. And Levi could read.
Now, Elizabeth died in 1870. The fuss over the land was when Wm.'s
grandfather died in 1842, before completely paying for the land. As you can
see from the census, most of the heirs moved in any way. I don't think they
ever moved out even tho the court forced the sale of the property.
Thank you for your help, Carol. Will try to get the other Ag census' via
interlibrary loan.
