Bill Pyles,
I used to tag along with our mail man too. We had several over the years
that the Dummell/Johnson family lived on Thomas Street, named after Thomas
Winow
(sp?). "Cherry" Clark was one of these mailmen. Cherry lived on Thomas
Street near Second Street near the Grapes family. One mailman told me a
story about the construction of the railroad overpass connecting Thomas
Street with Winow Street, which he said had only one name then.
Regards,
Paul Stickley
