Hi Harriet,

I got the 1880 Census, not the 1790 Census, so I'm not
quite sure what (exactly) is going on for you. Is
this the one you ordered from American Heritage
Imaging Inc.. I'm not familiar with that company
(which doesn't mean anything) but you might want to
call their tech support and have them walk you thru
the process on the phone.

As for the SK Census, I got mine today. I remember
seeing a message from someone who has an IMac and
couldn't access their SK Census. The images are saved
in .tif format which was developed for Macs. What
you'll need to do is open the images from the
directory, not try to use the imaging software that
came on the disk. It's not a big deal, you will want
open the CD Drive, then go to the 1880 folder then
click on the individual image. Whatever imaging
program came with your program will open with that
image in view. From there, you should be able to tell
that program which opened to "Open" a file from the
menu bar. If that makes no sense whatsoever, please
feel free to hollar and I'll try to explain it better!
