For anyone having difficulty reading the census column headings,
http://www.genealogy.com/00000061.html has blank census forms from
1790-1920 which you can print off for handy ready reference. I keep a
set on hand for when I can't read a column heading on my CD's. Also,
to find a specific street, aside from checking a census index for the
individual and therefore the page number, the street names are usually
written on the left side of the page, and one must go through the
city, page by page. One hint: censuses usually start on the east side
and move west.
