While researching in Blair Co., PA, I came across a
wedding announcement from 1846 for my
g,g,great-grandparent's who were married in Blair Co.,
PA.

According to the article it reads that they were both
from Mt. Savage, Iron Works, MD. Can anyone provide a
little history about this area?

This MD info has thrown me since they were both born
in PA. Just seems strange that they were both living
in MD before they were married.
