David, according to other Hyatt researchers, that is a different Hezekiah
Hyatt. He is supposedly from Md to NC and then came home to marry Mary
Burchfield before going back to NC. It is rather confusing as some
researchers have included my Hezekiah's kids with that marriage. I'll send
my Hez family sheet to your personal email.

It seems to me that my Hezekiah has to fit into this family that kept using
Old Testament names, but so far, nothing. And if my Hez belongs to that
family, no one has ever put him there.

Thanks for the Perrin info. I tried to get a copy of that deed this summer
and it was almost time for the courthouse to close and the woman copied the
wrong deed and it wasn't till I got home that I realized the mistake. Then,
I had even forgotten what deed I was supposed to get. I live in TN and my
husband and I just happened to be traveling through MD. Now, I can write
the courthouse and get the right deed. Thanks again.

About Esther's first name, I have also seen her referred to as Hester in
Brooke Co VA tax records. She also had a daughter that was named Esther and
married a Willison from Murley's Branch.
