My daughter and I wish to thank all of you on the Allegany and Garrett lists
who sent condolences on the death of my husband, Carl. Whether sent by
email or regular mail, the response was over whelming. Last count was
nearly 200 cards and probably half that amount in emails or electronic cards
on the www.

I think this has been the most difficult time in my life. Many of you have
been through this experience and your thoughts and advice have been a
wonderful help, both emotionally and financially.

All of your kind messages and cards were truly welcome. Knowing that you
were all here everytime I logged on made this time a little easier and less
lonely.
