Hi Everybody,

I finally found the location of where St. Luke's German Lutheran records
went. They went to the Lutheran Seminary in Gettysburg, PA. I was told by
a librarian there that they have a microfilm of the records. It also turns
out that LDS through the local family history centers has the records on
microfilm which can be ordered for viewing. See below:

I ordered the microfilm and I was able to find my families in the records.
The German script is a little difficult to read at times. I wouldn't rely
on the transcribed records from St. Luke's so much since I've found some
errors in comparing the original records to the transcribed records. In
addition, the transcribed records are very incomplete.

I just wanted to pass this info onto everybody.

Happy Hunting,

Chuck
