You're welcome, ALL! I got some little notes off-list, too. There is a lot
to learn, and help is available on the 'net. There's reprints of many great
articles at Ancestry. From the Home Page, click on the Learning Center Tab:

If you have never used those on-line RootsWeb Guides, you are missing out!
Step-by-step, a really thorough course, and it's there 24 hrs a day! Cool,
huh? (and the graphics are funny! Here is the link:

And there's the Home Page for the LDS Church Family History Library. Click
on the Text that interests you - how to use the Library, printing out forms,
how to get started... and my favorite, the Family History Library Card
Catalogue. Looking at it at home, I can print out the page I need for
ordering films to be sent to my local LDS Family History Center. It saves
reading the Card Catalogue when I am there. I print out the page I want,
then make a note indicating who or what I am am looking for, and refer to it
when I read the film. I can mark what I found - or didn't find, and have a
research journal or log handy, without all that note-taking of what I've
done. Don't miss out looking for the Research Guides here, too. They're
available for all the US states, and many countries and other special needs.
Click on the part of the screen that says: View maps, forms, guides, and
other research help under the Search for Ancestors column.

There are other sites I didn't include here, but these are my favorites. :o)

Yes, don't just search for names, or read census reports at these websites -
look for the FREE help. Afterall, that's the life-blood of these sites, is
to help more people to do more genealogy!
