Hi Listers,

I want to thank Ruth Sprowls for sharing about Morely Library having access to Heritage Quest. We made the hour drive from where we live in Ohio to sign up for a library card. No cost. Have to show photo ID and live in Ohio. Then we went to the genealogy room and the friendly volunteer showed us how to get on from home and work the program.

We've been online about nonstop since then checking out the census information that is available at that site. I understand that it is continually being added to as not all states are represented in every area. I found a former Cumberland native that I knew was in Seattle in the 1910 census, even knew what street they lived on, but couldn't get an index to find them. And I didn't really want to sit and go through Seattle in 1910 page by page. I was excited to find them finally and so easily.

I encourage other listers who live in Ohio to make the drive to Painsville.

Kathy Hayden
