Hi, I'm looking for any information on Israel Mayberry and any of his family
members. He was married to Catherine Hass of romney, Hampshire Co., Va(WV)
on Mar 27, 1827 they had five children. Mary born @1829; Thomas b. @1831;
Peter J. b. @1833; Francis (aka Frank my ggrandpa) b. @1835; Sarah Ann born
@1837.

I've found all but Thomas, and his parents Israel and Catherine Hass
Mayberry. Need help as I have exhausted about all my resources that I can
find. The Mayberry's were most all Iron Masters and operated and built Iron
Furnaces in Pa., Md., NJ, and Virginia. Thomas Mayberry was the first to
arrive in Pennsylvania with his brother William, both had some dealings with
the Virginia and West Virginia Iron Furnaces to name a few the Buffalo
Forge, Etna Furnace Vesuivius and Bear Garden Furnaces, the Hereford Iron
Furnace and the Green Lane Forge in Hereford Twp., Berks Co., Pa. a couple
of his sons were involved with the Catoctin Furnace near Frederick Maryland
in 1811-1820. Thomas 3d Mayberry died in his 80's still working with one of
his Victoria furnaces in Louisa Co., Va. in 1840.

Justinian Mayberry also had a brother named Thomas who I believe is probably
this same Thomas. I first found Justinian on the 1790 Census in Albermarle
Co., Va. He was supposed to be in business with his brother Thomas Mayberry
they were operating an Ordinary in the Area, probably on the Great Road thru
the Valley of Virginia. I would like any information on these names that I
can beg, borrow or steal. Bye, and be sure to contact me if anyone runs
onto any good genealogy information with sources. Thanks, Frank Mayberry.
Just drop me a line and let me know.
