I knew Elliott Shaw Smith. She was born April 27, 1880 and married Hite Stickley. She is buried at Rosehill Cemetery, Cumberland and he is buried at Springhill Cemetery, Springfield, WV. Was Hite's middle name "Forman"? and not Ferman as his great grandfather, Hite Forman Stickley. Elliott was very hard of hearing. She visited often to her daughter, Nedra Dowden. How do you fit into the family.

I am looking for any information on a Smith family I found in the Allegany
County census. This is listed in the 1900 census:
Mollie Smith-Head
Elizabeth Smith, daughter, age 10
Carrie, daughter, age 16
Thomas H. son, age 14
Elliott S. Smith (listed as son, but was a daughter) age 10
Maud Smith daughter, age 8
Lula C. daughter age 7
George R. W. Smith, son, age 5
Mallissa E. daughter, age 4

Mollie's husband was named Thomas J. Smith. He died in 1898.I am trying to
determine who his parents were.
Elliott Shall Smith was my great-grandmother. She married Hite Ferman
Stickley.
I would appreciate any help that anyone could share with me about this family.
