John,

What I've been able to get out of this individual is that it was something
passed down from his great grandmother. He remembers ingredients such as
meat and raisins and he thinks ginger snaps. It may help to know that this
family came to southern New York State from Hanover, Germany. We are trying
to find a reasonable duplication to make for him for Christmas. Your help
is appreciated. Thanks ever so much.
