Could be. I'm fairly sure there were Wagners who fanned out toward that
area. The problem I've had is determining whether the Waggoner/Wagoner line
(the one I believe is mine) was different from the Wagners. They seemed to
be divided. Of course, I know how spelling goes, but I get the definite
impression that there were two distinct lines and attention was paid to make
sure the two weren't confused. Just a hunch at this point, though. Seems
the Waggoners resided closer to Oldtown and up toward Flintstone, while the
Wagners were closer to Cumberland and points west. I've spent my energy
primarily on trying to place my Elza before digging into the more recent
descendants, but I'm thinking I should do that because there may be some
clues.
