JOHN E RAFFERTY


MOUNT SAVAGE -- John Edward "Dipstick" Rafferty, 61, of Mount Savage, died
Sunday, Aug. 19, 2001, at Sacred Heart Hospital.


Born Nov. 22, 1939, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late John and Reta
(Blank) Raffety.


Mr. Rafferty was employed by Willetts Tours and Blue and White Tours. He was
a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.


Surviving are his wife, Eleanor (Porter) Rafferty; one son, Doug Rafferty,
Mount Savage; a nephew who lived with him for 15 years, Ronald Fazenbaker;
and numerous nieces and nephews.


Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, P.A., 60 W Main St.,
Frostburg, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.


Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.
with the Rev. Father William E. Moody officiating.


Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
