MARGARET E RAFFERTY

CHURCHVILLE < Margaret E. "Doll" Rafferty, 81, of Churchville, formerly of
Frostburg, died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 1999, at Harford Memorial Hospital,
Havre de Grace.

Born June, 29, 1918, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Adam and
Clara "Michael" Brode. She also was preceded in death by two husbands, John
Brady and Lawrence O. Rafferty; three sisters, Olga Bush, Juanita Spiker and
Janice Phillips; and three brothers, Edgar, Francis, and Paul Brode.

Mrs. Rafferty was retired from the housekeeping department at Charlie's
Motel, Frostburg.

She was a member of Saint Michael's Catholic Church, Frostburg.

Surviving are three daughters, Shirley Brady Krantz, Havre de Grace, Nancy
Webb, Churchville, and Thereasa "Liz" McKenzie, Frostburg; a son, James
Brady, Havre de Grace; a sister, Phyllis Lancaster, Frostburg; eight
grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave.,
Frostburg, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 11
a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Paul Byrnes and Rev. T. William Preston, officiating.

Interment will be in the Brode Family Cemetery, Frostburg.
