It includes soldiers from all over the US who were involved in the war. For
instance, I live in Ohio and my ancestor was in the war in Hampshire Co.,
VA. His son lived in Allegany Co., MD. However it doesn't include ALL
soldiers, only the ones who are ancestors of those of us who are Ohio Members of the
War of 1812. Hope I explained it? There are a lot of soldiers from the
Allegany Co., MD/Hampshire Co., VA area, so I thought I would mention it to
those lists. However there are lots of soldiers from all over - the book has
probably 1,000 soldiers with family information.
The books has been in the works for about 25 years now. They have asked all
of the Ohio members to send them family group sheets of our soldier. And
that is what they used to compile the book.

Does this just include soldiers from the Ohio/Western MD area, or all
soldiers from the US involved in this war?
