Re: David Winebrenner- I have two in our family file:
David S. b. 1795, the son of Sebastian, of York Co PA and gr.son of Johann Christian Weinbrenner of Germany and also David Winebrenner b 1863, d 1907 of typhoid. He was the son of Margaret Winebrenner (base born), father unknown. Rumor has it she and her sister were both raped at a mining camp where they both cooked. This David married Jane Hawkins on 21 Mar 1880 in Frostburg. He was a fireman. They had a dau named Anna who gave no info on his death certificate re: parents names, wife's name. I have the death cert if you need it.
Those are the only two David's I have in the file. There were others in Hagerstown/Frederick area but I have not tracked them.
