The Lots West of Fort Cumberland

the land on November 15 1811. This seems much later than the patenting

Hi Jill,

Thank You. I think Jim MacDonald - who is also
researching Thomas Greenwade - has a copy of
that land patent - BUT Regardless, Thank You for
the URL that lists all of them.

I have been thinking about trying to find people
who lived on adjacent lots - to Lot 3581 - back then
and who might possibly have some information
on the Greenwades. Your Patent List should help me
pursue that possibility.

I don't have the words to tell you how frustrating this
has been for the past five years or so. BUT it is uplifting
to find people on this list who are trying to help us.

Thanks Again & Best Regards,

Paul
