I recently replied to another person who was looking for a Norris
connection but it appeared not to be in her line....However, the Norris
family who lives two miles from us here in Minnesota was originally from
Little Orleans. In the 1970s, this family traveled to Little Orleans
looking for the old homestead and located a store there that had the old
receipts in drawers in the store showing the purchases made by his father
and grandfather during the latter 1800s. Our neighbor is Art Norris and is
in his 80s, and just left the farm place a month ago or so and is now living
in the apartment adjoining the hospital in Paynesville, Minnesota. If I am
not mistaken, his father's name was O. B. Norris. I would be glad to help
in any way I can. Don
