In the data I received from the SCALLY/RAFFERTY line last year, I have a John RAFFERTY married to a Rita (no last name. The data I was given does not list any children from this marriage.
Here is the line I have.

John & Mary (no maiden name) RAFFERTY circa 1800 Ireland. Never emigrated

Patrick RAFFERTY, son, born in Ireland circa 1860, died in PA, possibly Messhoppen, PA
No wife's name given
CHILDREN OF Patrick RAFFERTY
Charles Patrick RAFFERTY, b. 1878 , Messhoppen, PA
d. 13 April 1949, Frostburg, MD
Wife: Anastasia SCALLY (daughter of Bridget nee CHAMBERS SCALLY)

John William RAFFERTY, b. about 1866, Messhoppen, PA
d. 4 December 1921

Ullane RAFFERTY, died 9 October 1924; no other data given

Mary RAFFERTY, died 22 May 1932; no other data given

Children of Charles Patrick RAFFERTY & Anastasia SCALLY
1.) Charles d. 2 Aug. 1974; Married Nora GOTFELTY 29 Sep 1929
2.) Charles twin who died, possibly at birth
3.) Joseph, married Maude LOCKARD 24 May 1933; no data re: DOB or DOD
4.) Mary Angela, married Fran CONORY; no other data

Since we have corresponded in the past, I do believe that this RAFFERTY line which is connected to my husband's CHAMBERS ancestors is the one you are seeking.
