Louann,
I create folders in my Yahoo mail account--you can label the folders any way you want--surnames, location, document types etc. When I get an email with information I want to keep, I just hit the 'move' button at the top of the email, pick the folder I want it to go to and voila! it is saved--not on my computer but on Yahoo's server. Saves space, time etc.

Louann,
I don't like to use the archives to find something I know I'll want to see
again. Takes too long to find things there. In my notebook, I'm pretty
particular about what I print. It has to be from a contact I don't want to
loose or info that has some actual fact to it that pertains to my line.
You're right, it's easy to get buried in paper. I have notebooks for all my
surnames that have enough paperwork for. And I try to file regularly but
I'm way behind right now....new grandson.
