The Obituary Collection is not the only place to find obituaries in
Ancestry.com. Generally if you do a Historical Records search of a name,
all sources of that name within ancestry.com will be noted. However, if you
click on Stories & Publications after the Historical Records are displayed,
all newspapers that contain the researched name will be noted.

If you have an idea where and when your ancestor died, you can check the
individual newspapers, then save, crop and print the obit. Or you may find
other information that will help. The advantage of the newspapers is they
are usually of earlier dates than the Obituary Collection.
